Born under a
bridge in Taipei
It started in a small dive bar under a bridge in Taipei. A place where musicians gathered to jam, exchange ideas and swap gear. We tried many stomp boxes there and decided it was time to make our own: designed and manufactured in Taiwan, built for small venues where acoustics can be tricky and setup-time is minimal. A set of stomp boxes that score on sight and deliver the sound right from the first beat.
This is how we began: slicing guitars on small stages in dive bars, talking to other musicians, expressing our voice through unique homemade stomp boxes, shaping the next sound of Taiwan.
The Unique Sound of Taiwan
When we say “proudly made in Taiwan”, we mean it.
Taiwan used to be the electronics manufacturing capital of the world. Many unique brand-new vintage electronic components can still be found here – if you know where to look. We explore the dusty shelves and abandoned drawers in the basements of the tiny shops in the maze-like Guang Hua district, looking for the unique vintage parts that allow us to create the sound of Taiwan.
These are high quality parts, sought-after for their ability to deliver a warmer, more authentic sound. Brand new, mint condition, but nowadays generally replaced in mainstream pedals by cheaper, mass-produced equivalents from Mainland China.
We use our sourcing knowledge and our hands-on experience with the Taiwan music scene to create a range of affordable effect pedals that have the unique sound that next generation of Taiwanese artists are looking for.
